In her free time, Maria Estela loves to read articles about economics, enjoys traveling, dining out, meditation, dance, and exercise.

As Senior Accountant – I acquired my experience working around 12 years with prestigious CPA firms in New York. I specialized in Real Estate Taxation and accounting for small businesses and investors.

I continued developing my own practice with the help of Jacqueline Horta, both of us worked on a part time basis, nights, and weekends for a few years until I obtained my CPA license and established our own firm.

My goal was to establish a firm with a different management approach to offer our clientele our diverse and vast experience acquired while working with different firms, and a selected group of professionals that enhanced my background.

My professional relationship with my clients is the best source of advertising. We develop a policy of loyalty to our clientele and the result is retention and referrals.

Co-Founder

In her free time, Jacqueline enjoys traveling, music and cooking and spending time with her family.

Jacqueline has significant experience in becoming a liaison for small business set up, develop their accounting system and compliance with IRS and State law. Extensive experience with worldwide taxation regulations for USA investors.

Prior to co-founding the firm, Jacqueline worked in the private industry for 10 years as a cost accounting supervisor for Entenmann’s Bakery and Senior accountant for Lennar Corporation. She began her accounting career working with her mom Maria Estela Lorenzo CPA in New York when she was very young while attending college. Later, moved to Miami and opened the Miami firm J Horta Accounting & Taxes Inc in 2006.

Her diverse professional background in private industry, along with her public accounting career of more than 15 years, provides her with a solid foundation for successfully servicing her clients’ financial reporting and business advisory needs.
